Self Reflection
Medium: Oils May 2017
For an intermediate painting class, our prompt was to paint ourselves reflected in something. I took a picture of my window in my dorm, not knowing until I got to the studio how prominent the tree illuminated by the street lamp outside the room was. The effect it had on the picture created an interesting opportunity to play with in the final composition.

You can find an article and clip of the hosts reacting to two of the pieces here.
